Video Premiere: enclaves Shares Visuals For ‘Iwillneverleaveyou’ Ahead Of New EP Release

Producer, singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist enclaves shares vibrant visuals for the new single ‘Iwillneverleaveyou’. We’re very excited to be running the premiere!

Taken from the upcoming EP COBALT (due for release this Friday), ‘Iwillneverleaveyou’ showcases the the kind of punching electronic-pop soundscapes that you can expect to find across the full release. Opening with twinkling modulated arpeggiators, lo-fi beats and a swelling sub bass, the track quickly creates a warming melancholic tone as the delay tinted, effortless emotive, breathy lead vocals enter.

As the track develops, it reaches an explosive chorus with distorted vocals delivering ear-worm melodies an octave higher than the verse and punching live drums joint the muted beats to pull the track forward with a driving sense of energy. Musically sparse but effecting utilising simple yet effective ideas, the track continues to gradually growing introducing dappled distorted synth pads towards the track’s climax.

Accompanied by a fittingly polished visual, the track is given a professional sheen to match the tight, spotlessly produced nature of the track.

Speaking about the upcoming EP COBALT, enclaves says: “What I hope to do with COBALT is to evoke a certain feeling – memories of a past romance, a late night out on the town, driving through the night with the windows down. It’s a record that’s got its fair share of love songs for sure, but they’re interspersed with tracks that highlight the general unease and anxieties of the times we live in. COBALT is about living, loving, losing, and surviving through it all.”
