Yes, yes, yes, they’re ANOTHER band from Portland, Oregon. It isn’t my fault that they keep on making them over there.

‘I Don’t Need Love’ is a huge slice of experimental indie rock. This is music that was mixed to be played loud. Turn it up. The fuzz-bass is monumental. The drums are like daisy-chain explosions. The guitars are twisters, tearing, resonating, and shivering through the chorus. And in and amongst all of this is Bud Wilson: declamatory, straining, vibrating, roaring into the maelstrom. This is going to blow your Christmas stockings off.
