Public Serpents are a highly energetic and politically charged ska punk band that hails from New Jersey. Known for their powerful sound and thought-provoking lyrics, Public Serpents use their music as a platform to address social and political issues. With a blend of aggressive guitar riffs, driving rhythms, and fierce vocals, the band’s music captures the essence of punk rock rebellion. Their debut album “Feeding Of The Fortune 5000“, hints at some of their influences, with an element of Crass about them, in that the message is everything, albeit not stylistically.

Their lyrics delve into topics such as government corruption, social inequality, and the struggle for justice. Their songs often serve as anthems for those who feel marginalized or voiceless, empowering listeners to question the status quo and stand up for their rights. Through their raw and impassioned performances, Public Serpents create an electrifying atmosphere that invites audiences to join the collective fight against oppression.

Despite their underground status, Public Serpents have gained a dedicated following within the punk community. Their relentless touring and DIY ethos have allowed them to connect with fans on a personal level, fostering a sense of unity and activism. Public Serpents exemplify the true spirit of punk rock, using their music to challenge authority and inspire change, making them a band that leaves a lasting impact on both the stage and the minds of their listeners.

Public Serpents are on 17:05-17:40 – Sun Aug 6th – Pavilion Stage
