Track: Korn – Rotting In Vain

Legendary Nu-Metaller’s Korn have announced a few details about their 12th studio album ‘The Serenity Of Suffering’ which will be released October 21st and by the sounds of the killer track they released a few days ago, Rotting In Vain, it seems like it’s going to be monstrously heavy. If the Korn of old are back then this is certainly going to be a record to look forward to.

The very eerie video for Rotting In Vain stars ‘Sons of Anarchy’ actor Tommy Flanagan and frontman Jonathan Davis explains how the song is about “being in that black place, being in situations that I don’t like in life, be it relationships or feeling when you’re stuck and you’re just being abused or you don’t like where you’re at, and you just sit there and rot.  It takes you years and years to figure out how to claw your way out. That’s where ‘Rotting in Vain’ came from. That’s the vibe that inspired the song.”

The album, produced by Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Deftones, Mastodon) also features a very special guest spot from Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor, which has definitely been something brewing for years.

Pre-order’s for the new album are up already and you can get the new track Rotting In Vain on iTunes now.
