Amyl and The Sniffers are stepping boldly into their next chapter with Cartoon Darkness, their third album, out now via Virgin Music Group. The band’s latest release—a chaotic blend of punk energy, humour, and danceable hooks—has already garnered acclaim, earning a nomination for the 2024 Australian Music Prize. With tracks like U Should Not Be Doing That, Chewing Gum, and the high-octane anthem Jerkin’, Cartoon Darkness is being hailed as a breakthrough moment, praised as “album of the year” by Clash and “a level-up in every way” by Brooklyn Vegan.

This summer, Amyl and The Sniffers will bring the fury of Cartoon Darkness back to Australian stages, marking their triumphant homecoming with a national tour. Joined by UK punks Bob Vylan and local powerhouse Miss Kaninna, the band promises nights of chaos and catharsis. Across the Tasman, New Zealand fans can catch them with support from C.O.F.F.I.N., ensuring every show is a fever-pitched celebration.
