News: LuliePalooza Returns to Victoria Park with New Layout for 2026

Melbourne’s LuliePalooza returns to Victoria Park on Saturday 21 March 2026, bringing with it a refreshed site layout and a line-up that leans confidently into the festival’s rock’n’roll roots. After four sold-out editions, this year’s changes are practical rather than flashy, designed to make the day easier to move through, easier to see from, and more welcoming for a broader crowd.

The main stage has shifted to the south-west corner of the park, opening up more green space and improving sightlines across the site. Accessibility has also been addressed with new viewing platforms and an LED screen, while shaded areas under the gums offer somewhere to reset between sets. Doors open earlier at 11.30am, reinforcing the festival’s family-friendly edge without sanding down the grit that’s defined it since day one.

At the top of the bill, Private Function will play their final ever show, closing the book on one of the country’s most unpredictable live acts. Grace Cummings follows with a set built around presence and control, while Briggs arrives with his heavy new project Big Noter, blending punk urgency with metal weight.

Elsewhere on the lineup, WILSN brings classic soul phrasing into a modern live setting, Greek-Australian siblings Frenzee deliver fast, stripped-back punk, and Benjamin Stewart steps out with his full band for one of his first shows since releasing his solo album in December. The undercard stays firmly local, featuring Georgia Knight, Grim Rhythm, The Vovos, The Gnomes, Smith & Western Jury and The Deadnecks.

Beyond the stages, LuliePalooza keeps its community focus intact. Food comes courtesy of Lulie Burgers and Dingo Ate My Taco, while the new Lulie Lovers VIP Bar adds a quieter option, complete with a secret musical guest. Skate demos, the bucking bull and the debut of LuliePalooza showbags round out a day that continues to feel grounded in its neighbourhood, even as the festival grows.
