News: Oklou Expands Her Vision on choke enough Deluxe with FKA twigs Collaboration

Following the sweeping acclaim of her debut full-length choke enough—hailed as one of 2025’s most vital releases—French producer, vocalist, and composer Oklou returns with choke enough Deluxe, out October 30 via True Panther. The expanded edition adds four new tracks to the album’s gauzy mix of ambient textures and restrained club rhythms, with a special “expansion pack” vinyl to follow.

The deluxe release is led by ‘viscus’, a haunting collaboration with FKA twigs, accompanied by a Gil Gharbi-directed video that situates the pair in an uncanny suburban dreamscape. The song, teased earlier in Highsnobiety, stems from conversations about chronic pain and the uneasy relationship between body and mind—recurring motifs in Oklou’s work.

Named among 2025’s best albums by Rolling Stone, Billboard, The FADER, and Stereogum, choke enough cemented Oklou’s cult status, praised by Pitchfork for its “meticulousness of a Bach cantata.” The record’s admirers include Billie Eilish, Ethel Cain, Rosalía, and Lorde—who Oklou will support in Luxembourg this November after a sold-out North American tour and before festival dates at Coachella, Primavera Sound, and Laneway Festival 2026, where she’ll make her Australian debut with intimate sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne.

With choke enough Deluxe, Oklou continues to merge emotional precision with sonic innovation—music that feels both weightless and deeply human.
