The expanded edition adds four new tracks to the album’s gauzy mix of ambient textures and restrained club rhythms, with a special “expansion pack” vinyl to follow.
The deluxe release is led by ‘viscus’, a haunting collaboration with FKA twigs, accompanied by a Gil Gharbi-directed video that situates the pair in an uncanny suburban dreamscape. The song, teased earlier in Highsnobiety, stems from conversations about chronic pain and the uneasy relationship between body and mind—recurring motifs in Oklou’s work.
