News: Scene Queen releases new single ‘MILF’

Bimbocore royalty SCENE QUEEN brings the yeehaw energy with her new single and music video for ‘MILF (Man I Love Fucking)’. The eclectic track is a punchy blend of metal, country, heavy down-tuned guitars and lyrics that will make your mom blush, and is taken from her newly announced debut album, Hot Singles In Your Area, due Spring 2024 via Hopeless Records.

On the new single and album announcement, SCENE QUEEN comments:
“MILF is a track I wrote to solidify that bimbocore is any and all genres, but the glue that holds it together is sick riffs and chaotic Scene Queen energy. The track came about from sitting with friends and asking, ‘what if we took all the most gate-kept genres and put them together?’ And it turned into one of my favourite songs I’ve ever written.”

‘Milf’ follows on from the pink clad metalcore queen’s latest singles ‘Pink Push Up Bra‘, her most angsty yet, and the viral track ‘18+‘, which called out sexual abuse in the music industry and holds up a lens to the male gaze. With her latest string of female power anthems, SCENE QUEEN is making her voice heard and reinventing the male-dominated metal music scene.

SCENE QUEEN (AKA Hannah Collins) is not here to be quiet, and she is not here to apologise. With lyrics that come for the throat of misogynists and genre purists, Collins is not afraid to disrupt the peace. Don’t be fooled by SCENE QUEEN‘s colourful pink image. She’s as fierce as she is vibrant, with angst packed between every punchy lyric. SCENE QUEEN is the epitome of the new emo scene. A new scene where everyone is welcome. Her music shows the cracks in society and breaks down the walls we put up everyday. To show that although this new scene may look different, we are all pink on the inside.
