News: The Brackets release new track Flotsam

The Brackets are continuing to become one of the brightest new bands to come out of Yorkshire in years. Having released an EP with an older line-up a couple of years ago, the band have rebranded slightly and listeners have been gifted with a couple of standalone singles from the northern outfit.

Latest release Flotsam is another triumphant song from the band with singer Eric Hayes’  vocal line soaring above the cool indie vibe of the track. The pleasant metallic guitar riff played by Tom Windle that re-occurs throughout is super catchy and give a lovely Summer tone to the overall track along with the cheeky drum fills by Andy Morrey. The build towards the end both musically and vocally adds another level to the already huge tune, with additional vocals from bassist Glenn Beal, also that bassline… wow!

Overall, Flotsam is another huge track for the Leeds based outfit and is a must listen! Get it on your playlists and look out on their socials for some gig announcements very soon!
