Track: Priest – The Lost Lions (EP)

The electro-pop of the fabulous Priest has reached its apotheosis in their newly released EP, ‘The Lost Lions’.

Priest, Camille Priest and producer David Kazyk, have already given us a taste of what to expect with the release of two singles off the EP, ‘White Wing Dove’ and ‘Our Time Will Come’ which were both synth pop masterpieces – Priest’s vocals having a fragile beauty steeped in melancholia and wistfulness with instrumentation that has the lush landscapes of eighties bands like Orchestral Manoevres in the Dark or Talk Talk.

The new tracks, ‘New Kings’ and ‘Lost Lions’ are just as glorious with the signature mountain-high choruses and luscious melodies. They go to creating a perfect package of yearning, emotive pop in one EP. It’s just gorgeous.
